Guesthouse in Australia

This red brick barn was built as a guesthouse behind an old miner’s cottage on the outskirts of Castlemaine in Victoria’s goldfields, Australia. Built and decorated by Daniel Burgermeister and Glenny Eastwood, they drew ideas from the surrounding architecture, as well as their regular travels to Europe.

Guesthouse in Oslo

Good Monday morning, precious readers. Had a nice weekend?
Today we are going to the island of Tjome, on the west side of the Oslo Fjord. Elisabeth and Christer Heitun have lived here for 20 years. This red wooden house with white shutters, surrounded by birch, pine, lilac bushes and fruit trees is their Scandinavian style guesthouse. There's a bedroom and a living/dining room, and an open sitting area on the side. Most of the furniture is second hand or found at flea markets. Come and see!

Guest House in Buenos Aires

A very old, dark house right by a river was turned into a guest house on the outskirts of Buenos Aires city in Argentina. Reclaimed materials, restored furniture and bright colours turned this dark house into an inviting guest home with a country feeling.
