In stark contrast to yesterday's post, today we are visiting this beautifully restored centenary house in Spain. Named L’Hort de Sant Cebrià, after the nearby Sant Cebrià church, in Torroella de Fluvià, this stone house was built in 1920. It has been restored and divided in two: owners Juan Carlos and Jordi live on one side and the other side is now a 5 bedroom rural hotel.
Original stone façade.
Herbs and fruit trees in the garden. White painted iron chairs and table in a sunny spot on the terrace.
Would love to dine under this vine covered iron wrought pergola.
Open plan for the sitting and dining areas. Natural pinewood flooring. Most of the furniture are restored antiques. Beautiful arched windows.
Walnut wood chest of drawers and cherry wood armoire in the master bedroom.
Beautiful contrast of rustic and French furniture in the master bedroom. Authentic Louis XVI headboard.
