House on The Mediterranean

This beautiful house is located in Malaga, Spain. It seems to be sinking into the vegetation which keeps it cool in summer. Inside, most of the furniture is either French or English, a real delight. I love every room of this house but I have an issue with the kitchen, though. You might guess what it is. Anyway, hope you enjoy today's tour, my friends!

Summer House in the South of Spain

This inviting summer house is located in Sotogrande which is a large residential development in Andalusia in the south of Spain, right next to the Mediterranean Sea. And just in case you are interested some regulars and inhabitants of Sotogrande include Tony Blair, José María Aznar and Sarah Ferguson.
Spanish interior designer Sylvia Melián is the owner. Most of the items displayed in her rooms were acquired in Tánger, flea markets in Paris and some antiques from Portobello Road in London.
I really love the way she has combined colours and textures. Tour time, dears!

House on a Cliff

Good morning dear readers. Glad it's Friday? So am I. Today we are off to Spain once again. Built on a cliff with stunning views of the Mediterranean, this stylish house combines traditional and rustic furniture. Subdued colours, airy and elegant. Care to have a look with me?


A grand porch with arches by the pool. A complete living room and dining room were set up here to enjoy the outdoors.




A white living room. Louis XVI chairs, modern sofas, antique lamps and candlesticks, and baskets all combine to make this welcoming atmosphere.






The kitchen leads out to a sunny patio.

Notice the angle of the island in the kitchen. It encourages you to walk out to the patio.






The master bathroom has it's own terrace. I'd dry my hair in the sun!
